Behind the Lens Series - Droning the waves

Picture in your mind beautiful sun and Hawaiian beaches, perfect weather with lots of sun and temps in the low 80s…and it’s February. This was the scene in February 2024. I brought my drone with me and was flying it up and down the coast. There were lots of rocks and the waves were crashing into them.

I put a filter on the drone camera because it’s a fixed aperture. This allowed me to make it look like the ocean was ice and snow and created a beautiful picture. One that we will remember for many years to come.
